Kudumba Hall New Extension :

In the last gen. body meeting it was decided that without an extension of the hall it is unlikely to make it viable and self supporting in its goal. An extension envisaging 2000sq.ft. covered area in the front with porch and side’mukappu’ representing the six branches is the plan. The project cost is estimated to be 9 lackhs. President Easo John presented a funding proposal viz. memmorial plaque of uniform size can be sponsored by family members at a cost of Rs.25,000 with common design. Already seven sponsors have volunteered to donate to the project. There are more interested family members which can be availed once the construction is started... The tender for civil works are finalized and the foundation stone is being laid on the 26th December and work will be start 1st jan.2008 and expected to complete the work in 4-5 months. The above sketch is the whole project when it is finished

RECREATION CLUB has started functioning from 2nd October 2005. The idea behind the formation of the Club is to arrange a common meeting place for our members, young and old. A few facilities are also provided like Table Tennis, Caroms, Shuttle court and health equipments like Exercising Cycle, Abdominal Machine etc. Our Youths would like to have a motorized Tread mill costing around Rs.25000/-They would like to get an help from you all there to achieve this target. Kindly consider this request and do the needful.

The Kuwait Unit of the Kurudamannil Kudumbayogam held on 28th October evening at the Fintas Garden. This wonderful get-together under the leadership of Boney K Abraham and Cyrus R. Philip took off with the ever popular hymn "Innayolam Thunachone….." and was followed by a Prayer by John Mathew. Boney welcomed the gathering and apologize in conducting the get together after a long gap of three years .Self introduction helped everybody to understand each other. Susan Iykattu, Tinku and Emy take the initiative to conduct the games and make the evening live. The adults as well as the children took keen interest and participated in all the events. Prizes were given to the winners. In three color competition Master Kevin comes the first place. Dr.Geena bagged the prize for collecting the sentence with out much missing words. In hat passing, Master Rohan got the winning prize. A special present was given to the youngest member of the family from the 9 th generation Ms.Karen ( D/o Anuja) of Kaipallalunkal branch. All members had ample time to get to know each other well and later were presented with a mug embossed with the "Kurudamannil Family" emblem. Cyrus proposed vote of thanks to all attendees. The proceedings ended with a sumptuous dinner and closed with a Prayer by Sherry and Benediction by John Mathew.

The Kurudamannil Kudumba Sangamam in Kuwait '02.

The initiative taken by a couple of Kurudamannil youngsters and their hard work paved the way to a Kudumba Sangamam on 15th November 2002. Sixty members and relatives of the Kurudamannil family in Kuwait attended this get together at Royal Auditorium in Abbassiya. The programme started, at 6:30 PM, with the song "Inneyolam thunachonne" followed by a prayer by Mr. Jacob George. Miss. Emy Rachel Mohan gave the welcome speech. A melodious song by Master Abin koshy and Bevan Koshy followed this. Mr. Boney K. Abraham gave the Presidential address, which was then followed by a song by Master Sachin K. Thomas. Mr. T. John Mathew gave a thought provoking speech based on Psalm 90. As, Dr. Thomas Easaw (Mohan) was leaving Kuwait after a few years of service it was decided to give a farewell to him. Mrs. Susan R. George presented Dr. Mohan with a memento and Mr. Ajit Mathew felicitated him on behalf of the Family members in Kuwait. Dr. Mohan ,in his reply, thanked all the family members. Later, after the departure of Dr. Mohan, the Sangamam recommenced with a song by Miss Shilpa Elizabeth Jacob. Then, Mr. George Verghese, the eldest member of the Kurudamannil Family in Kuwait, in his speech, gave vivid descriptions of Ayroor during his childhood days and these beautiful memories spread an air of nostalgia among the members on this cold winter evening. A melodious instrumental piece on organ by Miss Divya Susan followed the speech. Then came the introduction of the members and their relationship to the various Family branches. Mr. Cyrus Philip Ray kayipilakal gave vote of thanks and Dr. Binu Mathew led the closing prayer. The get together came to a close by 10 PM after a sumptuous dinner.
